1. Our Mission

Minnow Pool exists to empower women and minority entrepreneurs at the entry to intermediate level, helping them grow from “minnow to mogul” through small-group workshops, mentoring, and access to resources. These Terms reflect our commitment to maintaining an online space that aligns with our mission: a professional, inclusive, and supportive community where ideas and opportunities can thrive.

2. Eligibility

To use our Site or participate in our programs, you must:

6. Participant Waiver for Live Events

By registering for and/or attending any in-person Minnow Pool event, you agree to the following:

Assumption of Risk

You understand and acknowledge that participation in live events involves certain inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, illness (including communicable diseases such as COVID-19), property damage, or other harm. You voluntarily assume all such risks.

Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release, waive, and discharge Minnow Pool, its owners, affiliates, staff, volunteers, and event partners from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of or related to your participation in the event, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

Medical Consent

You authorize Minnow Pool to provide or obtain emergency medical care if necessary and agree to be responsible for any associated costs.

Media Release

You grant Minnow Pool the irrevocable right to use photographs, video, and audio recordings taken during events for promotional, educational, and marketing purposes without compensation to you.
